Porto Alegre, Brazil

This is my first travel to Brazil. Porto Alegre is a cultural hub in southern Brazil. Travel from the US to Sao Paulo and then to Porto Alegre is about 18 hours including layovers. Just reached the hotel in a remote part of the town as most of the hotels have sold out. Mood at the hotel is festive with a upcoming soccer game that has a local team playing. Should be interesting next few days.

Just reached Sao Paulo, Brazil. Busy airport ! I am now headed to TAM airlines gate to travel to Porto Alegre. 14 hours of flying and one more segment remaining. Hope the checked bags have travelled with me !
